Barton Stud offers excellent facilities to accommodate permanent boarders of all ages and also temporary seasonal boarders. The fertile land provides exceptional grazing and a good covering of grass all year round. Young stock develop clean limbs with decent bone, and developmental problems are rarely an issue.

Our foaling boxes are spacious and CCTV cameras ensure pregnant mares are under 24hr supervision. A sitting up rota is in place during the season. Our experienced foaling team provides an excellent service and gives the new born foal the best start to life possible.

We consign yearlings and breeding stock to all the major English Sales. Each horse is prepared to the highest of standards using our excellent facilities. Our objective is to ensure all horses reach the best sales price possible. Sales success include Albert Hall, purchased by Demi O'Byrne for 510,000gns, the top price paid at a public auction in Europe in 2002.

Barton Stud offers excellent facilities to accommodate racehorses that are in need of rest and recuperation, a period at grass or recovering from injury.

Barton Stud has an ideal setup to accommodate quarantine drafts of all sizes. We are able to complete pre-export quarantine schedules for Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Macau, India, South America etc. There are 5 separate yards, with a wide range of turnout areas available around each yard. We have a horse walker, cage turnout, mini paddocks, medium sized paddocks and very large paddocks available. Pre-export quarantine does not run during the breeding season.
